Moon Gazing Hare Paua Shell Necklace
This moon gazing hare pendant has been inlaid with Mother of Pearl for the moon and Paua shell as the sky, which give it a lovely shiny effect when it catches the light.
The back of the pendant is a disc of Paua shell.
Paua shell is well known for its gorgeous purple, blue and green colourings. The shell is unique to New Zealand's coastlines and is popular with jewellery makers and often referred to as the Sea Opal.
The pendant measures 30mm and hangs on an 18" chain.
