Blue Star Paua Shell Stud Earrings
These cute earrings have been inlaid with blue Paua shell, which gives it a lovely shiny effect when it catches the light.
Paua shell is well known for its gorgeous purple, blue and green colourings. The shell is unique to New Zealand's coastlines and is popular with jewellery makers and often referred to as the Sea Opal.
The earrings measure 12mm. The jewellery is plated with rhodium amalgam which is hard wearing and hypoallergenic. The base metal for the earrings is zinc and the base metal for the earring posts is stainless steel. The Paua shell is sustainably sourced.
